Sexual prosthetics for women were developed in recent decades in an attempt to reduce orgasm difficulties. Progress has been made in creating a quality-of-life prosthetic with the ability to stimulate sexual arousal for up to 8 hours. Although vaginal prostheses are designed primarily for women, some versions are available in men as well.
