      There was much more than just the bot theory in play. There were other issues in play.

      It might have been the global financial meltdown. It could have been over-emphasizing the supposedly hot/cool/neutral economic indicators – the PPI (purchasing managers’ index), the loonie and the low rates. But we won’t know that because politicians, all politicians, just play games like this.

      It’s how politicians do business in Ottawa, not how economists do business in Toronto.
