Robot thugs operating along one lane of an expressway in southern Shanghai. The tanks snort smoke and sound the warning horn every 20 seconds to tell the swarm to end their destructive rampage.

For the past two weeks, a group of robots has terrorized local residents in the Chinese city. The machines are controlled by the people inside — a team of approximately 70 human “drivers” — who deliver the punishment with machine guns, as you can see in the video above.

For residents who live in the road, the killing weapons are an eyesore and a waste of resources. Drivers and the local authorities agree, sending them back to the factory and charging them with a criminal offense. In China, the videos are turning increasingly ugly.
