Although he experienced some mild motor loss, Klein said he felt fine when it came to mobility. The biggest challenge for him was getting in shape, a high-impact sport that requires strength, balance and mobility. But his mind is clear, and he has no regrets.
“I’m thankful that I was able to be a part of this experience,” Klein said. “If I were told that I wasn’t able to come back from an injury like this I would be really upset, but for now I’m just happy.”
