“Aw, c’mon, guys, I didn’t know you guys could do that,” he chuckled, chuckling to himself.

Torn with bewilderment, the mother thought that if the demons had come for a visit, there would be no way of denying their visits.

She hurried from the car, laughing as she did so.

From the other side of the valley, the girl could hear the laughter of her lover and of the boys, not wanting to interrupt.

When she reached the home of her friends, there were no signs of an escape from the trouble, the moonlit ruins, even the broken window of a ruined cell.

“This is the end,” she said. “But I have to take a walk in the woods and seek myself.”
